We use SolidWorks 3D design software to design, layout, and evaluate all our parts before we go to production. The 3D capabilities of SolidWorks allows us to see potential interferences and problems before we start machining reducing rework costs.
We use GibbsCam in our Haas Milling center after the designs are finalized. GibbsCam gives us the flexibility to change anything we need "on the fly". The preview feature shows us exactly what the part will look like.
